A call to action or CTA is the motivation you are providing your customer to respond to your pitch. It could be a phone number to call, a website to go to, a form to fill out or more. The most successful CTA’s feature a strong offer in addition to the action such as “call by Friday for a 20% discount,” or “fill out this form and we’ll send you a free 10 Step Guide.” Offering something substantive in the CTA demonstrates your credibility and starts the process of making you a valued resource for that potential client.
The idea is to send them a text link, button, image, or some type of web link that encourages a website visitor to visit a landing page or call. This “lead” is then put into the sales system to be nurtured and turned into a sale.
