Project Description

Outbound Marketing

Outbound Marketing consists of marketing messages pushed outward toward consumers, with little input from consumers on the actual message(s).

Outbound marketing attempts to initiate a conversation about a product or service by rapidly spreading word of its existance through a variety of traditional marketing methods. This is the traditional marketing push that most people associate with the word “marketing“, although marketing is comprised of much more.

Examples of outbound marketing includes ‘traditional’ TV, radio and magazine ads, cold-calling, ‘junk mail’, trade shows, billboards, purchased lists, and more.
